Clare-Ann is a Partner in the office and Head of the Civil and Commercial Litigation Department. Clare-Ann joined Benville Robinson LLP in 2014.
Clare-Ann’s key focus is on complex commercial litigation, including judicial review proceedings. She is quick to adapt and understand her clients’ business, when advising in both contentious and non-contentious matters. Clare-Ann acts for a number of inshore fishermen around the Country. She has an in depth understanding of the marine environment and is experienced in planning and environmental law, for both onshore and offshore developments.
Clare-Ann operates a busy personal injury practice in the Litigation Department, including claims arising out of road traffic accidents, workplace accidents and medical negligence. Clare-Ann advises and acts for clients in sensitive actions relating to historical and institutional abuse.
Clare-Ann is Head of Corporate and Commercial Law in the office, providing advice in relation to Shareholder Agreements, Acquisitions and Mergers, Commercial Contracts, Employment Law, and debt and insolvency related issues.
Education
She is a qualified solicitor in Ireland, England and Wales and holds an LLB honours degree in Irish Law along with Diploma in Corporate Law and Governance. Clare-Ann came first in her year in the Law Society in Civil Advocacy, awarded by the now retired Mr. Justice Michael Peart
